is it a HP aro.

your geo is not a surinamensis as true surinamensis are very rare it looks to be a G Abalios which i have and looks exactly like yours
 
Sweet looking fish!

What kind of pike do you have? I have a few that look pretty simalar, but still haven't found out what they are exactly.
My guesses are C.proetus or C.lucius.
 
Yep he's one of HP's aro's I was 1 of HP's first cutomers back in January '05.

Oh right, at the LFS i work at I bought them in as surinamensis, so has just been what I'ved called them.

In the last few shots, yep thats Cookie, my Fahaka puffer.

The tank was orginally just his but then the pike got a pbit agresive for the grow out tnak he was in so chucked him in there, expecting him to get eaten really.

The oscar beat my aro up so got chucked in there too! And they all live happily together. Bearing in mind Cookie is a big wuss!

most geos with large flank spots are listed as surinamensis.
there one of my fav fish
