I know a lot of you have seen pics of this guy before, but I thought it was appropriate to share one more time as my boy Titus is now gone. He passed away a few weeks ago unexpectedly. He was definitely my favorite fish, and it sucked a lot out of me when I lost him, but I'm coming around. Here's a bunch of pics some old, some recent.

i just lost my female dovii yesterday. its a sad feeling isnt it. he was a nice looking texas too. are they hard to get up there? i know most stores carry the carpintis.
 
Sorry to hear that bro, and yeah, it does suck. As far as availability up here, I'm not really sure. I bought him when I was still new to the hobby so I didn't really pay attention to what other stores had. CA/SA cichlids aren't really popular in ND so I lucked out with this guy I think.

Sorry for ur loss. I lost a male 5in dovii this week. Most colorful out of the fry i had raised.
