great looking tank and cichla bro! my parents hate my wc schedule as well, wasnt a problem when i was living in an apartment and the hoa paid the water bill lol

When I come home late from school, I sometimes find my mom just sitting in front of my tank lOl and I know my dad sits in front of it while he eats dinner...I guess its a way for them to relax too so they dont mind paying the bill since I paid for the tank and fish myself!

I actually love it! Not too much light, not too little...I think its perfect plus I really like the shimmer effect. I was never too big on bright tanks to begin with, so I like the shadows it produces in the corners.

Im probably gonna add a Tig to give the bottom more movement, but besides that I dont think Ill be adding anything else.....FOR NOW!

Nice man. I am where you are at with the tem. I had to take mine out though because my biggest orino loves to chase. Everyone in my tank is 9-10 inches if not a little bigger and my tem is 6.5. They still want to try and eat him lol.

Thanks! The Tem is probably the most aggressive to eat but the Mono and Kel chase him off every once in awhile...
