Hikari Cichlid bio gold +, hikari bio gold and a couple lbs of kensfish brand fish pellets to try out. If the fish approve kensfish pellets I maybe using hikari as a fish treat due to price.

100 bucks of food lasting 6-8 months that's a dream come true for myself wow shouldn't add my fish food bill up close to 200 a month I'm sure your fish will be happy and I'm sure there's guys with way higher bill than mine

I'm at about $25 a month currently. I am building a 700 that should be running by spring. With t he growth of current fish and what i'll be adding, I see $100 a month in my future.

I don't keep tilapia. I feel tilapia fillet to my bass and bichirs. I pay $10 for 4lbs and feed about 8 lbs a month.

Oops!...After I posted I figured that was what you might have meant lol.I also pay about that much for a bag of tilapia but it is mostly for my armatus so it lasts a little longer.
