We'll it all depends on what u keep and how many talipia I buy once in a while when silversides are sold out p's and catfish feed twice a week and then dry food it probably depends on where u live as well

Where's the tilapia that you feed farmed? If it's from Asia or China, it's likely farmed in filth mixed with antibiotics.
I've reduced my food bill significantly since starting to culture red wiggler worms. It's super easy to culture them (in a rubbermaid in the gararge), they're safe, eat veggie waste and cichlids and all sorts of fish go wild for them.

I'll have to check the packages but I was already under the impression that most of the frozen supermarket fish and shrimp are imported from Asia.I've thought of trying some type of worm operation in the past.
I just ordered 36lbs of pellets I feel your pain. I really do.
