Hello everybody,

I just filled up my 125g today with all brand new equipment. I used stability and hikari ultimate to condition the water. My questions is, would it be ok to add a 10 inch jardini immediately? The stability directions say you can, but jardinis are expensive so i dont want to risk it if there is a risk. Any thoughts?

Thank you!

i agree. if you have everything brand new id give it at least 5 days. jardinis are hardy fish though.

true...if i added another filter containing my older filter media to the new 125, could i add the fish or would it still be best to wait?

Shouldn't be a problem moving it if you add an old filter. I also can never wait to get fish into a tank.

If you already have the jardini just move it and all the filtration on its current tank. This will instantly cycle the 125 for the jardini's bioload. To be safe you can skip feeding a few days, this will lower the bioload. Waiting won't help anything unless you are fishless cycling it, which is unnecessary in this situation IMO.
