Yup, I love the look of sand. I like to keep Eartheaters which is perfect. I first went to sand when I had my Giraffe Catfish 20 years ago. Just make sure your filter inlets are not too close to the bottom. Nothing will frigg up a filter faster than sand.
Just switched to sand!
