The photo's I have seen of older leichardti seem to indicate they do grow some barbel but i am not sure.
Here is baby leichardti eating a few crickets just a little while ago. Sorry video quality is not the sharpest. I am still learning to use this new HD camera.

There is a territorial issue, although they don't patrol a single spot they like to maintain their space most of the time. If they get too close to each other they start fighting but once one backs off they're fine.
However, despite this I believe it is only rough play, because none of them got to a state where I would need to seperate it from the pack. They are looking great and no sign of sickness/diseases/stress.
I will continually post as new behavior is observed. I love watching them as they always make me happy.
Besides that I feel like a scientist.
