Just the little baby Arows please

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
My jar is bad. My experiment comm it with a pair of silvers failed - had to give the silvers away before they got killed. Also had to remove other tank mates. Only bala sharks, plecos and farlowellas can live with him now, so far so good :)

Other people have succeeded with this though.

oh i agree.. it is just that jars are considered unpredictable.. and you never know if it will strike.. mostly when they mature though...i am sorry to hear about the baby silver.... looking forward to your new box..lol

thanx...had do do some fish moves to get ready for the box...took the small guy i had in the 20gal and put it in my 55gal ray growout...took my jar and pbass out of that 55gal, put them in my sen/ african tank...took all my africans, firemouth, syno cat and blala sharks that were in that tank and made a trade...traded a guy for a 55gal stand (for my ray grow out) and 3 more high flow rate hob filters...changing the stock to oddballs only...except i am also selling my tsns as my pond will have to wait till i can get a house...the house i was getting fell through and now i have to go into an apartment...all that for the box:grinno:...i am ordering from river wonders and i have herd some bad things, but we'll see...

Well, after a year being together, I suddenly found that my smaller bala was up side down last night after hearing some noise in the tank. He was sinking to the bottom up-side-down, living his last moments, shooting up and across the tank every 3 seconds until I net him out. His strong and jerky swims caused big water waves overflowing the tank and made big noise scaring my kids out. What happened was, I think, the jardini was chasing him as usual but this time he'd must got bitten by the jar which freaked him out, made him jump and hit the glass-top or tank wall, and killed him. He was about a year old having very shiny scales and looking very nice overall, and exactly 8" long. :(

i dunno too much about jars. i've had a leichartdi before. but my new baby is a green aro
