thanks! ya im waiting for him to mature since when they mature they turn gold/yellow.
he's around 12.5-13" right now head to tail so a few more inches of growing till
maturity since it's suppose to mature at around 15"

I've found they start playing rough when they get 15-17". Your cichlids are pretty beefy so maybe it will work. Dorados have long been one of my favorites

yea ive heard but each fish is different and im not worrying if it comes down it
ill just setup a tank for him solo. maybe get a female and try to breed them.
