OK, now he is getting a black outline again on his tail fin....do they do this forever???

our red devil/midas went through his change quickly,pics one month apart

The changes on mine are quick...he just keeps going through different one, LOL never know for sure what color he is going to be from day to day. Actually he was all orange for quite a while, I thought he was done and is why I updated him...now he is getting black along the edge of his tail fin again..the goof just wants to keep me guessing I guess.

Thats awesome, I had no idea they did that. Is it a because he is a mix? I have a red devil and thats never happened. How old is he?

well you can be sure he will always be a orange or yellow the rest of his life. he won't change back to a dark barred pattern ever again.
