this is a phony scam asking you to log into your account.... please everyone listen up.... there are scams going on out there more then ever.... so before you give your password and log in information make sure they are legitimate...do not assume anything... if it does not look right it probably is a scam... it is worth the few extra minutes... check it out..!! i received this one... and just thought i would post it up as a reminder to all.......We regret to inform you that access to your account has been temporarily Iimited.

This has been done due to several failed log-in attempts.

Case ID: ATT-563-1677-222

To restore your account please log in correctly
If you fail to log in correctly your account will be suspended for fraud prevention.

You will be able to register again for PayPal only after you authenticate your profile.

We apologize for the inconvenience, this measure was taken for your protection.

if anyone else receives any scams post them here too.. let all MFK people know... be informed... don't get taken....

This pay pal scam has been around almost a s long as paypal itself.

best way with one like that dump the email and then go direct to the website and log in there and then give them the dumped email for their fraud dept to care for

or

you can spike the email senders computer open and send in a vampyre :naughty:

but that might be frowned up by their service provider

I would always go directly to the website and not click on any links that are provided in an email.
thats good....

you should forward all such e-mails to spoof@paypal.com this is the official address for the department that deals specifically with this kind of fraud attempt, aka phishing.
I probably get one a week
