you are so right...................good info.jlnguyen74;3187918; said:Things these scammers can't get it straight are:
Your name
The website address
If you get any email starts with "Dear Sir," "Dear Member" - Put on your guard
Look for the website address. If it's not www.paypal.com, but www.whatever.paypal.com, or www.whatever.com, etc... just ignore and delete the email
These scammer love to ask for your full name, address, those sensitive information that was already provided when you signed up the account. It's like a few month back, during tax season, those scammer acting like IRS, said you have a refund, yet ask for your name, address, and social security no. How the hell they know that you have a refund, yet don't know your name or social security no. That's how stupid these criminals are!!!

thanks for adding info... just trying to get people to be suspicious... so they don't get burned.Morledzep;3188086; said:i had a problem with paypal once, years ago. the paypal representative that i talked to said that emails from paypal will have your FULL NAME in them.
it will say Dear First and Last name. not just your first name and no Mr. or Mrs. Last name. and if it is from paypal, you can go to paypal.com and view whatever they sent directly. so i actually don't really look at paypal emails anymore. if i see an email from them and it's not a response to a transaction i've made, i delete it and i go to the paypal website to see if something needs my attention.
