I also made sure my post was clarified directly after, and kevin just quoted it again for me.

I don't have much else to say on this person anyways though. He's got some great fish and a lousy attitude. Take what you will from that. :)

A few months back he posted up and was trying to sell a pair of obvious RD/Midas as pure Midas. These were some of the most obvious hybrids I have ever seen. I have just heard to many bad things.

Wow!! Its fish!! You are that impacted that you wish "the worst" for him??
It's not fish! It's his personality!

I understand you may want to establish some sort of relationship with a vendor for future sales. But if a vendor has supply and can provide it at a decent price, I frankly don't care how about his "personality."

I have seen Mr. Raymond's posts (but why can't I find the one the OP provided?) and in a majority of the instances, the recipient had it coming. In the remaining instances, he has crossed lines imo and stated things that I wouldn't, but certainly nothing whereby I would cross him off my list as a supplier. And certainly nothing where I would wish "the worst" for him. Really? Its just fish. We've been injured that badly?

Also, it was a bit reckless for bringing up Mr. Kreatsoulas into this thread and the inevitable confusion of having the same first names, which was realized. Mr. Kreatsoulas is a very quality vendor, also on my list, and does not deserve to be splashed with the venom.

I agree with Hulon, customer service, which INCLUDES shipping methods and live arrival guarantee etc, is crucial!

If John Raymond used to call himself "John Rare" I definitely agree on the shistyness! I got screwed for thousands from him.

PS. Mr. Kreutsoulas is an excellent vendor and shipper! Do not confuse the two, night and day difference.

So if you were treated bad/rude at Dennys Rest. would you go back? Food was good but the workers attitude sucked. I dont think so:grinno:.
Customer service is rated just as high as the product paid for in my book (atleast in that direction).

Rich (IA) has treated everyone with the best quality fish, prices, special request that were not posted, extra fish on multiple buys, undersized fish that benefit the customer etc.... Its hard to find anything negative about Rich and thats just his product he sells. His personality and attentiveness to his customers in my book is flawless. I wish Rich's method of Business was done in all types of businesses.

Keep up the good work Rich, my funds are awaiting your return:ROFL::D

lol, denny's food sucks as much as its service, so.....! But to your point, customer service is inextricably linked to food service, part of a very finite experience. I don't see it as comparable to the customer service for shipping fish, which is pretty basic, of lesser value to me relative to the fish. I'm not looking to make friends with the vendor. See fish, see price, send money, receive fish. The vendor cheerleading, or in this case, the wartime enmity, doesn't factor for me, so we have different books. "May he perish! may he meet much misery..." for customer service....?

baldtaxguy - I have seen your posts on WW, including those in threads involving Mr. Raymond. Obviously we have different priorities.

I have never bought from either Mr. Raymond or Rich, nor do I expect to do it anytime soon.

It goes far beyond fish and customer service. It's about treating other people with kindness and respect.

But apparently not everybody feels the same. It's only natural. To some money is the most important thing. For some it's fish. I respect their views and leave them alone.

I hope you would do the same.
