Might be a bit soon, but at least you can get a new Betta.

Right about that one. It's not like losing an entire tank or some rays (money wise, of course).Sorry to hear this mate

I loved his colors. I've seen about a billion bettas but I've never seen one like him.Man, he was beautiful... So sad.![]()
You talking about the colors of your Betta reminded me of my friend's Betta. He said his first one died so I bought him another for his birthday. It wasn't the prettiest, but I can't call it ugly after it's amazing personality. He managed to kill it after a couple of months, and I found out that he killed it because he didn't take care of it. The last I heard he only had 2-3 neons left and a snail. By now the only thing left is his snail, if he's lucky.I loved his colors. I've seen about a billion bettas but I've never seen one like him.
Far from generic that's for sure..I loved his colors. I've seen about a billion bettas but I've never seen one like him.
The tank he was in is so much freaken work. The nitrates tested close to zero haha. That and he showed no signs of illness. Fed him the day before, found him dead when I got home. I was more pissed than anything else. So much work for that little guy and he didn't even live a year.Sorry bout your fish passing, personally I don't get too choked about that random deaths. It's done, nothing you can do about it now. Test your water or whatever and move on is my thought process. It's when a disease breaks out in one of your tanks or even a bunch and you have to stress over a bunch of animals that often look terrible and might well die and you know it. That's the times that get me bent out of shape.
