That all depends on the brand of filter. Just make sure that you get a filter that is rated for double the volume of water your turtle will be in. For example I have a 100 gallon stock tank for my turtles and I have a canister rated for up to 200 gallon aquariums.

Alot of money Stink pots are less expensive, at least you dont need a really big tank for them
