Just wondering if anyone has gotten bit by a piranha or any other fish with razor sharp teeth. I have witnessed someone who got bitten by a piranha.
It all started like this. I few years ago when I was still in highschool I used to have a part time job at a petstore, I worked in the fish section and my manager was awesome. He knew his stuff inside and out and always ordered the oddest and pretty rare fish. There were some things I saw there that I have never seen again. Anywho, so a customer came in and traded in one of his large piranha. It was about 9-10" and thick. A couple came in and wanted to buy the fish they came up to me and asked "Oh we want that fish, but we will come back after we do some shopping." I told them thats fine I will be there to bag it for them. So they came back and I was just about to leave for lunch, so I asked my colleague to net it and bag it for me. I go for lunch and I come back and I see an empty tank and some blood drops form the tank to the back room...I though, no.. it couldn't be. It was, while my colleague was netting it, he grabbed the net from the bottom and that is where the fishes mouth was...So the fish bit him right in the palm, right between his index and middle finger... It didnt grab a chunk of flesh out just had a deep cut in the shape of ( )... It was funny and wow at the same time.
Anyone else with a similar experience? Any fish?
