If methylene blue increases oxygen wouldn't it decrease algea growth? With more Oxygen =less CO2 so all algea &plant growth would be inhibited.

This stuff is just a dye, why would I use food coloring when they have a dye made for fish?

I think I will test it out in my 10 gallon fry tank. These DYE's control algae because it limits the amount of light penetrating into the pound or tank in my case.
