That is a very nice looking Oscar, reminds me of the ones I used to see when I was a kid, big wild looking things.
Thanks everyone, as stanz knows the oscar is a wild rapps fish. Rio orinoco, he is a lump already, hes been in the UK about 18 months now arriving at 3-4" Dec 16.
It feels good to pull some fish together from the same continent rather than my usual hojg pogj... The oscar and black aro started this then the pike and L095 pinecone.

Well the pike was being a bully, I think it was only a matter of time until he took the tank and bullied everyone. I've moved him on unfortunately, it's for the best tho I think.

Yeah the aro is fine, probably around 16-17", about 2" in a year!!! I've found him to grow really slowly but I don't know his past. Feeds well on pellets and seafood.
It's a risk because some blacks pass 30", if he gets too big I will bite the bullet and find him a better home.
