cheers everyone, the butti is only 12 inch but has some serious bilk with it, i would say 30% heavier than the 12 inch midas!

bought him from wildwoods via royal mail a month ago, he was about 6cm... now im prepping my juwel 120 for him before he decides fish are food!-) gonna fill it tonight and get it cycling, once he is 12 inch he can go in the 300g, love my channa and after repeatedly buying micros then selling them before they are massive i figured buying a sensible sized one was the answer.
 
Cool , those micros you had were beastly I wouldn't dare put them in with cichlids :D they are quality fish though I have tried them in with my old jardini but it kicked off (obviously:banghead:) and the damage caused from scrapping became a bit much

lol, from my experience if socialised from young they are much more laid back than jars or boisterous cichlids... i had an african pike destroy a 13 incher when he was only 9 inch... imho comming atf is much more risky, charachins are evil...
 
Now that's one fish I wouldn't try out lol ;):D

Lol besides the wyckii currently eats fish upto 7 inch so im pretty limited nowa days... hence the 100g!-)
