thanks all for the replies, I can really see why people love these fish now that I have some. I've had florida hybrid pbass in the past and I've usually wound up selling them before they ever get any size on them. I decided when I got into pbass again that I would see them to the end. Now pbass are the only thing I want, they're even in my dreams!

if you decide to keep the 5 tems to the end, you might wanna consider a huge tank...220gal won't be big enough

Oh buddy, you need a 4' deep tank for your Tems. Have you checked the prices I gave you for the Tenecor tanks?

No kidding

totally normal.
with tems especially you will always have dominance issues.:D
and they definitely act alot different when theyre in a school than in singles or pairs.
much much more outgoing as a school and show alot more behaviour.

I did check the prices and they're not bad. I am thinking I would be saving quite a bit of money buiding my own tank and it'd give me something to do in the evening. I'm going to build them a 10'x4' or a 12'x4' tank. The 220 will be a temp. grow-out tank for them.

Building your own stuff, as long as you know what you're doing, and you have a decent price for the supplies ...is definitely the way to go ;)

Posted some over here. I talked to a professional photographer to come snap some pictures of them, as I have an article in the works and I want to use some quality shots. My camera is good ...for tourist photos on land or water ...but that's it (Olympus Stylus 720)
