i have this WC juvenile Mali Uros for about a month already, didnt eat much until now, only one bite of food all the time. how to make him eat anyway? i need serious help here, i sunbath him 15min everyday using exoterra multivitamin and calcium D3 since its not eating. keep alone in a 3 footer aquarium with every setup correct already, substrate millet bird seed, huge driftwood where he always hide, bask and sleep under. UVB tube style, basking lamp using 100w and heat lamp.

When they are new I have heard that Uro`s have a habbit of hiding a lot and being very scared. I have heard they can do it for longer than most other reptiles and it can last weeks.

he just needs time to adjust to his new surroundings, it takes Uro`s longer than other lizards. he is also WC which means he will be much more likely to perceive you as a threat than any hand bred Uro`s

but everytime i sunbath it, it just totally different in the tank. why?
what are the temperatures in the tank? does it have a well enclosed hide? a piece of driftwood is not adequate for a hiding spot. something more enclosed, or the opportunity to burrow is needed
