Thanks for the advice and that is exactly what I thought about! I just bought a new 75 gallon from petco for $100 I still need a stand for it though.

2 days after I rearrange the tank and Crash has the tank all alone there appears to be a nest. I noticed just a little one this morning and now when i got home it is all the way down to the glass. Anybody have info on this? Just want to be sure this is a good thing. Also I am not sure if this is a male or a female any info is appreciated!

Finthusiast Finthusiast it's a very fun hobby isnt it!
Just a word of advice... when you get a larger tank for them... which will be needed sooner than later... get one that can house them for life... otherwise you'll be buying a slightly bigger tank again and again and again in short time as cichlids grow very fast.. take care brother
Not always a bad thing....MTS....then you research fish that actually fit in all your grow our tanks haha followed by threats of being single if another tank comes into the house ?

Crash appears to be male, so digging pits in substrate is a natural behavior.
