Try some frozen thawed out krill as well to get him to start eating. Most of mine ate with in the first couple days but I did have one that didn't seem to want to eat right away. He swam by pellets for the first 5-6 days till I bought some krill and thawed out and put in the tank. He sniffed that and started eating the krill then a few days later started eating pellets as well.

I’m assuming brand doesn’t matter so much, right?

Probably doesn't make a huge difference, but the one I buy is Omega One frozen krill. If you can find that mine love it.

So I heard Hikari then did some research and nls is better and now I’m seeing online northfin is the best. Im getting a big discount at my local fish store so I want to use my code for my big purchase on Sunday. I will be adding a tropical Gar.
