Juvenile Trimac Question

i got 3 males and they all have that red tones in fins and throat. they look just like the pictured, but starting to show more red on the throats. they are from 2-4inches.

Mine has a little more red than in these pics. She's a little darker (dark green) than she looks here. Sorry, I had to use the flash cuz there wasn't enough light. It was either too dark or too bright. I need a better camera.

My male is half her size and isn't showing much color yet. I got these from Rapps, where'd you get yours?

yeah i hate that with pics. i have the same issues. haha i need a better cam also yeah mine are also green with the red mostly. male prolly won't show to much untill he is at least her size. usually the more dominate of the 2 will show first. i didn't get mine from Rapps. but i do know they are actual "Trimacs" and not FH's. so gl on raising yours.

mine must be female too then it has a black spot not a blotch on her dorsal fin and has a spot by her anal fin a spot in the middle of her body and a spot on each side of her forehead but the tail is getting really reddened up and a strip of red on the top of the dorsal fin.. im wondering do the females get thrhoats too??

yeah females will get red on the throat area too. and the black blotch on the dorsal is a dead giveaway for female.
