yeah the whole point of giving the aro guppies was so that he could bulk up a bit so we wouldnt have to worry so much.

im not too worried about the diseases from the guppies because ive been breeding them for the past 6 or 7 months

and still no luck on the aro sticks... maybe we could try cichlid staple?

wow some of the people on here kill me. i suppose flake food wont satisfy my angelfish or the 2 baby tsn's that eat the **** as soon as it hits the water. soon it'll be a 120 gallon tank is too small for a 2inch aro. any way i realize that it cannot be a staple for a fish that is going to be a decent size but for some reason i have had alot of luck using flake then to pellets with multiple fish.

why ask for advice then make fun of someone for giving it?

I'd say keep it on guppies for now. Better to bulk it up and train it onto other foods when it can actually take the starvation rather than do it now and risk the fish not eating. They grow pretty fast anyway. One day mine was a 2" now it's hitting 7", and all that in under 2 months.

feed it the guppies u breeded, as long as the aro eat
i tried to feed my silver aro pellets with no luck so i gave him tetra, minnow, guppies, krill.
and now he eats pellets no problem and i did not have to force it, he just take it.
