Haha yeah exactly. He's currently housed in a 55 gallon but Im in the process of looking for a 90 for a decent price. So far he has no attitude, very active and not shy at all thought. Hoping he gets a little meaner as he grows.
I wish mine would too mine is stuck on flakes and bloodworms but i have seen it eat a pellet twice just one each time but for some reason still wont eat em.
Wanted to say what a nice male jag again! And Scratch my post before ^^ yesterday she started taking hikari gold predator floating pellets now she eats em as soon as i put them in the tank! It's so random because i bought them for her when i got her about 3 months ago and now she takes them oh well she does now thats all that matters
I just picked up three of them the other day. The largest one which was about three inches jumped out of the tank and died the day after i got them The other two which are about two and a half inches are very shy and skittish. But I have also noticed the blue you are talking about. I have had them since thursday and today they are finally starting to eat. They still refuse any pellets wether they are sinking or floating but they have started eating flakes. I hope soon they will start taking the pellets.
Here is a video of mine to maybe help on the sexing I'm still unsure to be honest. Don't mind the divider it's only until I find I a new home for a 1.5 inch baby jag I picked up and my bigger one was bullying it as you can see in the video lol
