my 2.5inch - 3inch juvis have recently been going crazy and ramming into the sides of the tank! they never done that..normal?

and also is it okay to feed them turkey ham from a store lol ( ham in sandwhich)

thanks

small natts can be crazy sometimes, i wouldnt worry about them ramming into the glass sometimes, if they do it too much, it may be a sign that they need a bigger tank.

as for feeding sandwich meat, that would be a big no.... stick to raw shrimp, tilapia, pellets, and frozen krill or silversides.

I dont seem to understand what you say they're doing..."ramming" what's that?.

And do not... repeat do not feed them ham or smoked turkey, such foods wouldnt do any good to your reds.

Feed them fish fillet, squid fillet, caryfish, shrimps and once or twice per month beefheart and chiken breast.

Everything is going to be raw stuff nothing cooked or industrialized.

Cheers.

i guess hes trying to kill parasites

but if thats the case you can just freeze it
it will kill microorganisms

there is no need to feed beefheart or chicken breast... their digestive systems are not made to handle mammalian meat, stick to fish

yeah i feed them frozen market shrimp but everything i put it in the tank raw theres always these little white things that stick to the side of the tank.. when i boil them really quick it the white things dont show up anymore o.o

the white things on the side of your tank are planaria, they are caused by overfeeding and/or slack tank maintenance.... don't cook your shrimp at all and make sure you keep your water clean and they should go away.
