Is there a way to tell apart gold motas and red tiger motas when they're about an inch? If no, then until how big then they become distinquished?

And others you can tell at first glance, i have seen 1"ers that i could tell were different from normal mota's, and 6"ers that i barely could, post a pic of yours, the better the shot the easier to tell.

Beautiful fish. I don't see any red color in it and know males have less red, but how can you tell that yours is a red tiger, and not gold?
