What can you tell about the quality of the ones I posted? Are they Jeff quality?

no way to ever possibly tell that, unless you buy it from him at tangledupincichlids.com< great guy, i get all my cichlids from him now, though somewhat expensive in some cases. he does not sell to and local stoes that i know of, only from his site.

i also have doubtful feelings about shipping, because he is in New jersey, i have heard of him shiping to places like washington, but if it's not overnight delivery i don't beleive fish survival is guarrented. you can email him about shipping to cali, if you ever decide to buy from him

I bought 5 fish from him and had them shipped 2nd day air and all were fine.I did lose 1 a month later but it was Fo and i beleive it had internal bacteria infection i could never clear up.I'm in Chattanooga,Tn.

fishluvr12 how big is yours in the pic and it is a male or female? I have one exactly like it that was sold to me as Red Mota as well. As for the aggression it just took out a male Carpintis that was same size

3.5" and highly agressive.Had to move Him for a while cause he almost took out a 4" FO Festae
