I noticed in your other thread you have an fx5 on your 55g where the pbass are. Perhaps there's too much current for them. It could be stressful on them, having to use a lot energy to swim around. Hard to say.

i have a divider and the intake and exhaust is on the other side. not where the juvies are at. the juvies only have an sponge filter and one air stone.
