Anything happen yet? Or are they still experimenting......?

Nothing just the same behavior. Attacking everything, so Im dividing them up tomorrow after my water change. If you see them both in person the humps are interesting. I will get a few non-see through dividers and see if I can maximize their potential.

Check their tubes for a guaranteed method of sexing. You sure they're just not chasing each otehr and fighting in an aggression based dance?

Positive, they chase everything else in the tank in an aggression based dance... lol

I think they want to breed but they are too young. Once again they will be separated from everyone else today anyway, doing some tank movements. I will post updates on every fish when Im done.

Does their eating behavior change during mating? I have a female Texas and a male FH and it looks like they're preparing a nest in one of the pots but since yesterday night, they haven't been eating as normal.

Wow, zombie thread. Eating habits can change during breeding, just depending on the fish, my female green terror quit eating when she had new fry and would only start again after a couple weeks.

Yeah, I actually did a search for this one and didn't realize the thread was so old. My FH has been a pig up until yesterday after I did the water change. Now, all the FH and Texas are doing is hanging out in the small pot. They definitely aren't hiding scared... They're just chilling there and don't seem to go anywhere pr eat anything anymore.
