Juvy Red Terror or Uro?

So I recently sold my 11 inch female festae for $400. I really liked her and wasn't going to sell, but who could say no to that price. I was at the LFS today and they had a "red terror" juvy of about 3 inches. The guy even admitted that he wasn't sure, so I took a chance. I figured, hey $8, even if it is a uro it will be a cool fish. It seem to have the Y bar, but I have thought I have seen that before and people said they were Uros. So here he or she is. What have I got? Sorry for the crappy pictures. I will break down one day and buy a better camera.

honestly i dont know. i would say festae but i dont really know much about either fish. either way im sure itlll turn out gorgeous.

Man I hope you are right! At what age can you sex them?

not sure. probably 6". i really dont know. but most cichlids are more easily sexable (is that even a word?) 6" and up. my manager tought me that!

Male Festae

I'd have to say male festae. But because your pics are blurred it's hard to tell. The tail spot being Small and defined= Festae. large and undefined = uropthalmus.

although its faint you can also see the "Y" on the shoulder. Def. Festae. Congrats!
