Juwel tanks...The powerhead

Why do you keep buying terrible quality powerheads? Is there a reason you can't buy another brand that doesn't apparently suck?

The adapter only fits the tube inside the internal filter, you can only get Juwel ones that fit.

I'm just looking for people who use these tanks to see if they have had similar experiences with them

i only had the tank since august so its still under warranty, just hope it dies soon so i can get a replacement unit

If it's rattling badly, take it bad anyway, blame noise pollution for the fault

my powerhead must of heard me complaining cause its no longer making that annoying clicking sound

Good to hear. If it's working my advise is don't switch it off, if it's slightly iffy then if you try to restart it, it won't. Just do more water changes only smaller so it doesn't get near to running dry

Problem solved, I got a different make of power head this time, it was cheaper than the juwel and more powerful. It also fits in the the hole(almost anyway) but the outlet doesn't fit the hole in the filter box. I got some stiff tubing and left it hot water to soften and the attached it to the exit and through the hole.
