well i put a total of 4 drops on the tail of the shark , it seems to be a little more active since ive did that , i think daily i will keep putting drops on his tail till its all better. i try to get a dec. pic but i think hes camera shy , he keeps moving !

That is def from trauma of some sort. Something in the tank is picking on i if I had to guess.
Nitro is going to be your best (safest) bet. The broad spec nature works well against keeping the wound clean and it won't hurt the shark at all.
