K9 Working Dogs

Nice dogs... This thread is going in the wrong direction... I'm not talking about training your house dog to sit, stay, and roll over... I'm asking if anyone trains police dogs, Schutzhund, KMPV?

There's something wrong with mine lol
I got this German Shepherd for free. His mother was the daughter of 2 police dogs and was bread by a known breeder.
The guy I got my dog from bought his mother for big $$$ in the hopes of finding a male with a similar pedigree and breeding some police dogs himself and making some coin.
Long story short, he was watching his daughter's boarder collie for the weekend. Later he was scanning his trail camera for evidence of deer in his property, well lets just say he found the evidence he didnt want to see haha
So he was upset I got a "free to a good home" dog. He's exceptionally intelligent and obedient, came from great 2 work dogs, but he thinks he's a lapdog haha

Have you looked at ringsport or completion obedience? That's what I'm starting to lean to with the dogs I train

you mean bandogs? yeah i had 2 one was a english mastiff amstaff mix and and the other was a cane corso apbt mix the cane corso mix was for PP and he had a great bite we started trainig him at about 7 months old he had great prey drive, he died about a year ago because of a rattle snake bite while camping, he didnt make it to the vet :/ im not a fan of mix breeds but i wouldnt mind getting a well bred bandog
