Or am i the only one who can read lips...

He looks verry healthy. Mine is kind of a loner. If all of his tank mates go to the right
side of the tank he goes left.. And he is always bussy exploring.
He don't care about what ever happends in the tank, but knows exactly when it's dinner time.
I only give him mussel at the moment. he eat half and sometime a whole mussel.
From what size did you change his diet and what did you gave him?

haha yeah, he's been a little weird lately... ours doesn't really care for his tank mates, he kind of just ignores them lol. We have fed him a variety of food from the beginning. We first fed him blood worm, and krill, snails and some prawn. He always has snails until recently we've been breeding our own crayfish.. he still eats prawn and raw crab with the shell on, and we're also going to be getting "seafood melody" which is a raw seafood mix from a local grocery store called TNT

Love the pic with him rubbing his lips on the glass.

What a character!

I unfortunately have to write this...
R.I.P: Kaleeko - Mbu Puffer

Kaleeko passed away on Saturday morning, after puffing up and having air trapped inside of him. We burried him below a tree by our local river... he will be deeply missed.

No way !!!! thats horrible.
Not even a year... I feel with you.

whas the reason stress that he pufft up ?
was there nothing that could have done to save him ?

Thanks Misterfun.. we really have no clue what happened to him. My bf did his usual rounds of the tanks earlier that morning, and he found Kaleeko on his side, breathing very lightly, and not moving. He had a bump in his tummy, and a cloudy eye.. which wasn't the case the night before. So we did a water change immeditately. He didn't get any better, my bf tried to hold him and help him get fresh water into his gills, he didn't like that and he puffed up, and puffed in some air at the same time :( .. he had air caught in his stomach.. we tried to "burp" him, which isn't easy.. had to hold him underwater and gently press on his tummy to expell the air.. he wouldn't let go.. or he couldn't :( he kept puffing up underwater, which was good/bad .. since he puffed up under water, he let out some air, but not enough.. it just wouldn't expell. He died in my bf's hands... he will be deeply, deeply missed.
