Kamfa Progression Thread

Not only is that parrot fish hideous, but has nothing to do with petsmart kamfas!
I picked up one of the kamfas and have thus far been very disappointed. It is growing VERY slowly and showing no color. It is currently in a 29 gallon quarentine/growout tank with excellent parameters and daily water changes. How long are they supposed to stay 2 inches?

I got this guy at around 1".. He's about 2" now in less than 4 weeks. FH's tend to grow around 1"-1.5" a month, more if power fed and adequate daily water changes are performed.
Which petsmart are you guy shopping at. I've checked all the petsmart around my area, but they never heard of either red texas or kamfas.

I love blood parrots but that is just wrong. Its photoshopped though so not a problem.
Thanks for the info! Hopefully mine starts growing soon. It's only been about 3 weeks but I haven't noticed any change.

Hahaha sorry for posting something totally unrelated well it sorta is cause its a hybrid.. Anyway I was wondering are petsmart red Texas any good? I think one would be more like this

The ones I have seen from petsmart are pretty low quality. But a low quality RT is well worth the $7 or $8. Even low quality is pretty cool looking.
