I put him in a 20 gallon barebottom to beef him up he ignored the female texas flowerhorn completly all he wants to do is eat and swim around he is still a baby even though he is around 6"

yeah i separated the 2 he isnt really showing interest in her he still has some growing to do.

I also have his brother which is gold base and really showing some progress

I only have 2 females and a friend of mine has a fertile male I am gonna see if we can bring the 2 together and get some fry. lately I have been outcrossing prq to other fish to get a hint of synspilum since my synspilum female is to chicken of everything
