I can't listen to someone that samples EVERY song they put out. That's strike one. Race cards end it for me, and the fact that he drops one every time his whiney ass doesn't get what he wants is pathetic. It's a weakness, strike two. He's not a rapper, he's a pop star. eh, i'm not much for rap, but of the little rap i have on my ipod, kanye is on there. While i dont like how it's all "sampled" it's catchy and generally has a decent beat. As far as I'm concerned, most of the mainstream music like that is "sampled" I listen to it from time to time, but give me something with instruments, that the musicians actually play. At least bands who do covers and such, play the instruments.

I hate fallout boy with a passion, like it's unhealthy, but when they covered beat it by michael jackson, at least they played it on instruments, didn't just use a recording of it.
