I havent read all the pages about this ,

but basicly IMO Kanye is a great Producer , Sampler , Rapper , Song Writer , Ect . . . And for him to copy , sample parts of other songs is nothing new , lots of producers and musicians do it and have done for many of years . Peolpe like Run DMC , Dizzie Rascal , Calvin Harris , Lots of of Dance , Drum n Bass Dj's .

So i dont think its a problem that Kanye West does it too !

And as long as he is making great hits and selling alot of records why complain abit .

thank you!!!

I tend to pass on pop music anyways. He pulled his own version of a JaRule (if you will) Fooled us all into thinking he was a rapper, and then singin and cryin on every song then after...He is crap, and so is the rest of the poppy rap genre....

I hate Kunye, he just does not matter to me. I could not name a song. I listen to REAL rap....Like Lynch hung, Bone, Jeezy, Rick Ross..Etc...50 cents is not REAL rap either.

West coast rap is just fine....East coast rap fell off completely...

This i have to disagree with. Some of the finest active rappers are from New York City and the rest of the east coast. Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Immortal Technique (he was born in Peru but NYC is where he grew up) etc.

Southern Rap is what has fallen off. Aside from Dead Prez, they'll always be great.

The best hiphop in the world right now actually comes from Canada. And the Northwest and Extreme North of the US... Look up Blue Scholars, Sweatshop Union, The Aztext, Brother Ali, Classified.

Your choice of real rap is good though :), except for Jeezy, i just don't like him. Haha.

Here's a couple of examples of "real hip hop":

Human's Race - Sweatshop Union

Can't embed that one. ^

Great video-song combinations, the best ones i've seen aside from Coffee Shop (:banhim: I know) and Children's Story by Slick Rick. Also Crossroads by Bone Thugs was great.

Another rapper who's great and insanely realistic is Greydon Square. He's atheist and that's the subject of most of his songs, so Theists may not like him, but...

Facebook - I Hate Kanye West
Looks like a few more people should join this group!!

I can't stand him, as far as musician go he's a talentless clown, and the fact that he has the audacity to compare himself to Jimi Hendrix of Led Zeppelin just astounds me. What instruments does he play again? He might be rich and popular, but IMO he can't even make music, let alone begin to compare himself to the likes of The Beatles or Hendrix.

Yeah, he samples music but that's not going to stop people from listening to him. I don't like what he did with the sampling, but it's still catchy and I will still listen to it.
