Yeah not one of the two I bought fronts from but maybe someone else on here has that could let you know.

In the first pic its hard to tell but there is one showing color and it looks to me like it does have the mask of a zaire front.

He has F1 Kitumba juvies for $24, and you can be 100% sure they are Blue Zaire.
Chip is an importer, most other "importers" actually get fish from him and resell at a profit.



In the pix your seller provided, you can't see the mask at all.
The coloration leads to BLue Zaire though.

The price of Blue Zaire fry has come down.

The fronts are only 1", could the zorro mask not be developed yet?

i actually just bought a small colony of frontosas. i got them for $8 a pop from a breeder himself. They're Mpimbwe Frontosas. They're only about 1.5"-2" and theyre blue fins are already showing !! just thought i throw this info out there so you can see if you're getting a good deal or getting ripped off.

prices all varies but i see Zaire f1 fronts like moba, kapampas and kitumbas usually go $20-$30 bucks, Tanzanians such as f1Mpimbwe goes from $8-$12, burundis are cheapest amongst all the fronts $6 to $10. but then again like i said it all depends on the seller.

with all the above replies. Those do look like Zaire and If the seller say they are Kapampa then you have to take his word. I believe most Zaire look the same except for Kitumba which has more purple to them, imo. Alot of times their Zaire mask fades and throws people off. But I did see some with a full Zaire Zorro mask while some where faded. It's normal for some to do this at times. Moods changes this in most. The price ain't bad either.
