Not wanting to rain on anyone's parade, Green aros are the second most agressive, after RTG's.

An asian community can work, or it can be mayhem. There are ways to attempt it and to achieve it, but it is not a given fact that asians aork well together.

Actually, it is far easier to see blacks or silvers working well together, if more than 2, than asians.

Ok, I'm slowly talking my girlfriend into another tank :Rolf: we both like high back red tail golden, chilli red, super red or blue base golden x back, what would you recommend and why?

Nothing to recommend actually. It's all about how willing you are gonna spend on one that's all.:D

Get the best fish you can afford because if you take care of it right, it can live 20 to 30 years or more.

Don't buy a cheap one that you don't really love because you may staring at it for years.

As a fellow Uk MFKer myself, I would need to be 100% sure to buy an asian, with it being the only fish in a tank, just MO

Yea I totally agree with you, I have plenty of time to think about it and its definitely not something I am planning on rushing in to, any fish that gets to this sort of size is a huge commitment before even considering the cost, so yea thanks for your advice :)
