I just took my delhezi out of my 20 gal and put him in with my 2 sens and ornate. I am worried he may be eatin by the ornate. The delhezi is 5'', the ornate is 9''. And the 2 sens are 7'' but probably wont bother him. So what do you think? take him out? or will he be big enough?

Ok, i am watching them very closely to make sure. I just wanted them moved because i thought the del should be in a bigger tank.

Unless the ornate is showing signs of aggression toward the del, I think they should be fine together.

Agreed, just be sure to keep the Ornate very well fed.

that looks like a lot bigger size difference than 4"
i wouldnt risk it.

I agree, if the del is 5", thin I think that ornate looks like it is more like 12", but I still think they will be fine together, I have seen bichirs with much larger size differences kept together successfully.

its best to separate them, otherwise,.....

Its up to yourself if you want to seperate them, if you have a spare tank i would. By the way you need a bigger tank, i wouldnt keep that ornate much longer in the 20, you need to upgrade to a 75-125 soon.

Wow man i cant wait until my ornate gets that big, right now he is a small fry only about 3inch big, how long did he take to reach 9". I am feeding my ornate krill will that make him grow fast. I have some pictures of him on the where to find delhezi in nyc post. (oh sorry didnt mean to highjack ur thread either

better keep them separate...the delhz is too small...im afraid it will be eaten by the ornate...just to be safe..;)
