It's still being cute!!! Not sure how to adjust the cuteness knob on this...there's just too much.

Nice find. I scored a 5 dollar barb mixed in with the .70 cent lemon tetras today.

When is starts sucking the slime coat off other fish, it will stop being cute.

It displays all the traits of frailty often associated with albinism. The other two CAE's used to nip at the other fish, but this one has never grown quickly or shown any aggression at all. Actually, everything in the tank seems to think it should be dead and it spends most of its day hiding. I once saw it mow across a catfish as it was foraging, but the albino made no show of even realizing it had done so and kept right on moseying across the gravel. I am more afraid it will be eaten or killed than vice versa. Seriously, you should spend an hour watching it. It's beyond timid and easily at the age where it should have become aggressive.

Still a gentle beast, it has grown some and is acting a little braver. As in occasionally visible throughout the day.

awsome! they have some 6 inchers or bigger at my lfs, but they were brought in from some other ppl tanks. for i think 10 buxs or somthing like that. will never own one myself though, i like my pleco better! but cute none the less!

nice, I bought 10 CAEs 2 weeks ago; each are about 6-7cm, and I put them in my outdoor pond. Believe or not, they're now almost double their size as I see them this morning.

Yes, I've always found CAE to grow amazingly fast. The goldens came to me at just over an inch and were four and five inches long within a couple of months. Had a regular morph in Idaho and it even grew quickly in out nasty 30 gallon of dark age nastiness. But this guy seems to just take his sweet time. Got to be the albinism.
