My jag cichlid bit me twice when i was doing a water change. And it hurt as hell.

my oscar bit me once and only once , I gave him 5 across the eye's and told him he would get 10 across the eye's next time he bite me... :D LOL he real bit me a few time's and got me good twice enough to draw blood, nothing worthy of stiches or medical attention he was just reminding me he had teeth!...

i got bit by my 6" RED PIKE it hurt

I ve been bit by one of my cichlids didnt hurt, on the other hand my bf was bitten by his bros oscar it drew blood.

The most aggressive fish I've ever kept was a tomato clown. That fish wouldn't let you put your hand in the aquarium. It would literally jump out of the aquarium to bite you. Not only that, but it would go for the skin in between your fingers and it would death roll! just like a croc!

i was unfournate enough to get bitten by a RES. it was abt 5" and i think it drew blood. i got it off by putting my hand on the ground and relaxing it. the turtle backed into the water and let go.

o forgot to mention that i caught the turtle by accident while fishing

have to use the drop and get my fingers out of the way method for my oscar i swear he smells krill while its thawing he almost swallowed my finger once never again told him id replace him with neons if he didnt stop it :D

I was bit by my dorado(salminus maxillosis) on my index finger when it was 6 inches. Drew blood, no stitches. I was drunk at the time, so it bled for a while. Like being cut by a razor. Clean and straight. Think it was just one tooth that did the damage.

One of our Oscars was getting so agressive that we couldn't clean the bottom of the tank without getting bitten, not bad enough to draw blood, but it would hurt like hell! We talked to our "fish guy" at Petco. This guy is sharp and keeps freshwater and marine fish himself, he said it's a dominance thing, get a good thick glove and put your hand in the tank and let him beat on that glove, after a while he'll give up and decide that you're bigger than he is. We went home, tried it and now when we put our hands in the tank they just all move to the other side.
