I haven't really seen anyone from Arizona and the fish scene seems to be on the small side here. Am I misinformed or are there just no fish in the desert? I've only been able to find one decent LFS too. Pets inc. on Mill and Southern.

have you been to the ocean floor on thomas? i havent been up there i awhile but that is by far the largest fish store i have been to.
Never go there. They have a large selection of tattooed blood parrots and dyed community fish. They also have a few tattooed giant gouramis. The blood parrots say I (heart) You. Every time I go I see dead fish in the tanks and they work on commission. They also store large pacus, catfish, and other monsters in tiny tanks. Horrible, horrible place. They do have a cool front tank though with a large RTC.
the last time i was there they had just put in the giant tank up front. i did not see the tattooed fish 
so sad they promote and sell that stuff...

Checked out Phoenix Tropical today. Nice little shop but the tanks are stocked a little questionably and the livestock prices are a bit high. I saw them with multiple kinds of puffer in one tank and archer fish mixed with fresh species instead of brackish. Just to give an example. Also saw juvy Arows for $40 at a size I've seen for $20 at Pets Inc.
