I’ve finally done it and got all 7 gar species. My Cuban and tropical just arrived from predatory fins. I’ll post about all their growth and lots of pictures and video links in this thread.

Starting off with the hardest to find these are my shortnose gar. I caught the fry on 5/23/24 and they’re currently around 4in.

Rare Shortnose gar!
My Cuban and tropical gar that just arrived yesterday from Predatory fins. Cuban is about 8in and the tropical 4in.
My longnose I caught myself about a month ago. It’s currently in with two Florida gar and the Cuban in my 500 gallon aquarium.
My spotted gar I caught here in Kentucky last year. I have 3 adults I’m hoping breed someday.
Next up are my two alligator gar Garlic (platinum) and Garfield (marbled albino).
Garlic came from Monster Aquarium in New York and Garfield from Global Fish Co.
Both are still doing very well but Garlic actually spooked in the aquarium and broke his back last year he’s almost fully healed now. Garfield does have a slightly bent snout I'm assuming from inbreeding.
