i apologize i thought the answer to your question was answered already. i keep 1 male and 2 males in a 30 gallon with a bunch of smaller mbuna and 2 oscars and clowns. they just mind their own business. the dominant female used to chase the weaker female around even after they got to know each other for a while but they always stuck together but now they just swim around the tank together all day.

dude, its cool im just saying that ive seen threads turn into battlegrounds because someone hijacked a thread, anyway first of all the oscar live in a completely different enviroment 100's of thousands of miles away, oscar live live in soft water african cichlid live in hard water, im surprised those auratus havent already killed the oscars, auratus are considered amongst the meanest african cichlids and second of all that Tank is waaay to small, an oscar needs an 80 gallon for himself and an 125 for a pair, so if you want to still save him
buy the oscars an 125 gallon not to mention a lot of filtration
africans will be ok in a 55
