Ok guys. Tell me why it is so impossible. Lot's of much bigger species than muskies are bred in farms, in smaller than 5000 gallon pools. Yes, it doesn't happen naturally. They get the eggs out of the animal with a little pipe, but anyways, it is not impossible.

I will release them in a lake which already have muskies inside.

I didn't want this thread to become a fight arena. What have i done wrong to make some of you so pissed off?

I've just read this entire thread and I haven't read any postings of anyone attacking you or even get pissed off at you. There's obviously a language barrier issue, but like I said, no one who has posted has been hostile towards you.

Your plan ing on releasing them in a lake. If it is not a private lake your idea is done before you even get started.

Muskies need an acre of space each. I will be breeding them myself but I will be doing it on a 5 acre lake on the property I am looking to buy.

I do agree that you should not keep muskies , but he just asked for some advise . I think he deserves an answer and not to get chewed out this forum is for discussion and questions . And it's true you should NEVER release fish into the wild . I hope you can find a more suitable fish to keep in your tanks , good luck

not gunna work, anymore talk about releasing your fish into public or someone else's private lake needs to result in a lock topic

I would go check out some fish farms for salmon or something.

http://www.aquaticeco.com/topics/5/Aquaculture-Supplies is an amazing source of info too... this place would be able to answer all of your questions and also have the stuff for sale to get your project going.

johnny, thank you.

Cod, please try to think sir... I will release the fish, where i already got it.

spiff44, thank you for your help. I will look into that. Good way to start.

I am ready to do whatever it takes. I didn't want this thread to become a fight arena. I just want some answers and suggestions. I know that you are more experienced than me, and so i requested your guidance. What have i done wrong to make some of you so pissed off?

You haven't pissed anyone off as far as I can see? Some people on here are a bit blunt with their answers but none of it is personal.

Releasing is a bad idea unless it is a private closed lake. Not sure on the law in your country but it is illegal in a lot of places and more importantly it is morally wrong when you know what you could cause, I thought about something similar myself when I first started and didn't see the problem if the fish was naturally occurring in that lake but I was then informed about other implications such as non native parasites, disease and fungus etc...

People are trying to guide you but I'm guessing you are not getting the information you want so try listing specifically what you need to know like

1. Tank size

2. Sexing etc... But people may be reluctant to help without you having a better future plan.
